Preparations 2

The truck is loaded and we are all set to go. We are leaving Samara, on the North West coast of Costa Rica and heading 8 hours (plus or minus a few days) South to the Osa Penninsula were we will get Park permits, and finally put the boats in the water. So far the park service has given us a few hassles while trying to get permits, but it looks good now. Tad from Popo's Adventures has helped us out of a crunch and rented us the kayaks we need for the trip. He has the only "real" sea kayaks in the country. Without them the trip would be landlocked. Tonight we will be on the road somewhere between our current position, and our destination tomorrow, Puerto Jimenez, the entry town for Corcovado National Park. So far the rack on the truck seems to be working ok......
