Where Jungles Meet the Sea
Talk is cheap, and ideas come easy. A sea kayak trip has ben on the list of to do's this year, just it's location remained unkown. A trip around parts of the Osa Penninsula in Costa Rica has been decided upon since it will allow a follow up survey for a recent trip to Cocos island to observe the impact of fishing on local shark populations. The Serena River in Corcovado National Park is roumored to be frequented by Bull sharks in large numbers during the changing tides as they swim up river to feed. This event is made more interesting by the resident crocodiles which mingle with the sharks and compete for food. The trip may last from 4-7 days and involve three or four expedition members.
